HND Admission

SSSCE Holders :

• pass (A1-D7) in six (6) subjects comprising three (3) core subjects including English Language, Mathematics and integrated Science and three elective Subjects in science including chemistry, Biology and Physics/ Elective Mathematics.

WASSCE Holders:

• pass ( A1-C6) in six subjects comprising three(3) core subjects of English Language, Mathematics, integrated Science; and three (3) elective subject in science including Chemistry, Biology and Physics/ Elective Mathematics .( However any subject below C6 will require a pass in an entrance exams in that subject before admission. Tutorials will be held by the school).

Mature Applicants:

• Applicant must be at least 25years old at the time of application and show proof of age with birth certificate or any legitimate documentary proof of date of birth which is at least five (5) years old at the time of application.
• Mature applicants must have at least two years of working experience (proof of employment or letter from the employer is required) and pass a written exams conducted by the institute.
• Mature applicants applying for HND Dispensing Technology should have relative hospital/laboratory/industrial experience with ‘’O’’ Level/WASSCE/SSSCE pure science background (Chemistry and Biology) as well as credits in English and Mathematics (Core).
• Matured applicants satisfying all the above, without all the necessary pure science subject ((i.e. Chemistry, Biology or physics /Elective Mathematics) background may be admitted, however, such student shall take introductory courses for six months and pass examination in pure science (chemistry, Biology and Elective Mathematics/Physics) offered by the school. For such student the training will extend for an additional 6 months.
• Candidates with Dispensing Technician part III certificate with at least a credit in chemistry may be considered for entry into the programme at the beginning of the fifth semester.

Access Course by the institute

• Applicants without pure science , and/or hospital/laboratory/industrial experience must register for, attend and complete the Access course and pass the Mature Students’ Entrance Examination conducted by the institute in Pure Science subject; Chemistry, Biology and Elective Mathematics before completing the admissions process and must pass a Selection interview.

Successful applicants will be placed in Level 100.

   (foreign applicants can deposit in this same account in any African Country)
2. Present a copy of the pay-in slip at the HAI office or email a scanned copy to info@haighana.edu.gh for the processing of the application. Also provide your full name in the email.
3. Pick up application form from the HAI office or receive application forms via email
4. After successfully completing application forms attach relevant documents and submit to address below
